      Verdict

      Another intriguing event with a number of the biggest stables represented. Paul Nicholls runs the unraced Terimon gelding Monti Flyer, Mary Reveley runs the French-bred Magic Dragon., while possibly the better of Len Lungo's two entries is the Tony Dobbin-ridden debutant Ghost Rider. His trainer will have put aside a decent one for this and he has to be respected, but he's very much National Hunt-bred and may get done for toe on this quicker going. Lungo's other runner is Noblefir. He showed promise at Ascot last time (Pierre Precieuse well held on that form) and could prove the better option from the yard. Philip Hobbs runs Native Star, who at least has some experience, while Nicky Henderson runs Ken'Tucky, who has certainly shown promise in his two runs to date. Atlantic Hawk has also shown promise but has tended to race keenly. The others are difficult to assess. The market will probably provide a good guide in this race but, as a selection, Paul Nicholls' Monti Flyer gets the vote.
