Verdict
Although six runners are set to face the starter for this novices' chase, the outcome should be fought out between the two previous winners in the line up. Tarasco has done little wrong of late and comes here on the back of wins in similar company at Huntingdon and Market Rasen but improvement is needed to get the better of Kock De La Vesvre, who gets the vote. The Venetia Williams-trained gelding impressed when opening his account over course and distance last month and, although falling at Aintree last time, is well worth another chance on the form of his previous run. That Binny Bay is probably the best of the other four runners, tells us how moderate the remainder are.
