Verdict

This race won’t take much in the way of winning and it's plausible that SAULIRE STAR was just not on a going day when down the field at Pontefract a fortnight ago. Jamih has to reverse form with Tim Easterby’s charge based on their meeting at Ripon but has gone well here in the past. My Brother Jack offered a first glimmer of hope at Beverley and he is kept in the blinkers on this occasion. Thakuri has gone well for a female rider in the past and is respected despite failing to trouble the judge in six starts to date.
