      Verdict

      Favourites have enjoyed a fair record in recent renewals of this prize and it would be no shock were WILLARD CREEK able to realise substantial improvement for his first run since a fairly lengthy absence. Wheal Kitty is rated just 60 and has made the frame on a couple of occasions when tried on similar fast surfaces on the Turf. Revoquable performed creditably in a maiden at the track last season while Langton Wold is watched closely in the market on a first start for almost 300 days.
