The conditions of the contest see GO ANNIE GO at the head of the weights but the claim of highly promising Gabriele Malune sees her off an attractive mark. The Evans filly has proved very solid in claiming and selling grade and was always controlling her race to oblige at Thirsk the last day over this trip. She should be well suited to this track if adopting similar tactics and is taken to confirm Thirsk placings with Liberty Diva, Alhebaba and The Fluter. The main dangers are likely to be Bandola, dropping into selling grade for the first time, and Smashing Lass, a sound third in similar company last time at Ripon. The latter steps up to a seventh furlong for the first time here and may progress as a result.
