      In depth

      Verdict

This is possibly a bit more competitive than first appears. Imphal is usually thereabouts while Mac Amara has placed the last twice but both are starting to look a little exposed. Very Intense is 0-19 but he has finished second twice, including last time, since a successful spell hunting. Another 10-year-old, Kilchreest Moon, is also a long-standing maiden but found only one too good at Hereford last month. We like the way DOLLY MCQUEEN shaped at Wincanton last month and the all-weather winner is not highly tried making her handicap debut over timber.
