Verdict
Ziet d'Alsace is the selection here and she may be able to defy a 6lb penalty for an easy win at Yarmouth, with Honeystreet, and Frieda Kahlo the others for the shortlist. The selection hails from a shrewd yard and is capable of winning again at this grade after a going away success last time out. With Eddie Ahern in the plate, she could take a good deal of beating. Honeystreet won well on her penultimate appearance and goes well for today's pilot David Kinsella, but she was disappointing last time and that run will have to be forgiven. Frieda Kahlo was fifth in a decent maiden at Ripon last month behind First Celebration and that form reads well in the context of this race. Ranny may also be good enough to challenge for a place and she was in-foal when winning at Brighton earlier in the month. The rest look a fairly moderate bunch, so we are happy to side with the in-form Ziet d'Alsace.
