Verdict

Aquarium won a strong handicap at York in October though that was on soft ground but stable companion MILDENBERGER looks the class act here. A winner on his debut in 2017 and on his reappearance last year, he hasn't run since second to Roaring Lion in the Dante but obviously goes well fresh and is still open to progress. Crossed Baton was four lengths behind in the Dante but had won a Listed contest here earlier and was only beaten a length in a Group 2 in France so has to make the short-list. Lucius Tiberius became disappointing for Aidan O'Brien but ran well enough on his first start for Charlie Appleby in a Longchamp Group 2 earlier this month while Tim Easterby doesn't waste diesel on fruitless journeys and Aasheq is only up 2lb for his Pontefract victory at this level.
