Verdict
BALLON ONABUDGET was most disappointing last time but that was almost certainly not his true running as he'd run a fine race on his first run for Tom George when only inched out at Ludlow. A bumper winner in Ireland, he's had a good break since and is taken to get back on track here. Pilot Station ran a nice race when last seen for Pat Fahy in Ireland when second in a Down Royal maiden hurdle on Boxing Day and is an interesting recruit for the Whittington team. He rates a major threat. Jaytrack Parkhomes has disappointed since making a winning bumper debut in February 2018 and Rococo River, better last time, is a more likely type for the shortlist.
