Verdict
Ballyvodock has won two of 16 starts between the flags but has yet to contest a race under Rules and is best watched. Emperor Renard hasn't been seen under Rules since featuring in a bumper here in 2016, since when he's landed two wins from just five starts in the pointing arena. He finished 15l behind IN ARREARS (NAP) when the pair clashed in a point-to-point in March and there's no obvious reason for him to turn the tables now. Since then, the selection has scored a decisive victory over this course and distance before finishing third behind the useful Virak at Ascot. She looks hard to beat.
