Verdict
Finding their ways onto the shortlist here are Jumeirah Scarer, Qualitair Wings, Templet and Hula Ballew, with the vote going to Qualitair Wings. The fact that he is a course and distance winner, with the added attraction of that success having come from today's rating, spins us in the direction of the selection. Quite simply, at his best or somewhere near it he ought to be competitive in this race. Following a couple of indifferent runs, Jumeirah Scarer has a point to prove now, while Templet has won here, although that maiden success is his sole win in 18 career starts. The consistent Hula Ballew comes into things based on his fair recent course and distance second, but the three-year-old McEldowney has yet to justify his current rating. The others appear to be outclassed, which returns us to the selection, which is Qualitair Wings.
