In depth
Verdict
Luca Cumani has his Bedford House team in excellent order at present and the Italian is taken to plunder this valuable prize with the progressive Arzoo while Desert Opal, Tagula Blue and Camille Pissarro look the pick of the opposition. The selection is clearly on the upgrade having won his last two starts and put up a particularly good performance to run out a most decisive winner of a valuable handicap at Musselburgh two weeks ago despite his rider being inconvenienced by a slipping saddle. The Bahhare colt has been raised a further 8lb but looks capable of further improvement and should prove up to the task in hand. Desert Opal was successful on his latest start at Newbury and will appreciate the give in the ground but has been absent for almost three months and may prove vulnerable. Tagula Blue should be forgiven his latest start when missing the break and will also be well suited by underfoot conditions so has to be respected while Camille Pissarro boasts solid handicap form and also enters the reckoning particularly if the first-time blinkers have the desired effect. Hat-trick seeking Masterpoint has taken a sharp rise in the handicap but has place claims in an open heat but the percentage call is with Arzoo.
