      Verdict

Rhoscolyn is starting to look very well handicapped and Jason Watson prefers him to Orbaan and Tuscan. Boardman is 8lb higher than when taking this last year but did go on to win twice more. Gweedore is a thoroughly likeable sort who is well drawn for a front-runner and has a crack apprentice doing the steering while Spycatcher made a winning reappearance in a conditions race at Thirsk last week. Biggles did nothing but improve last year and could be set for another cracking season but RAINBOW FIRE was also progressive last year and, having run well on his return to action at Kempton, he can make the most of his weight concession. Montassib looks best of the rest.
