Verdict

The handicapper has given a chance to the lightly-raced Design, who wears blinkers for the first time. Oscar's Sister ran well on two starts over 7f here last year but the eye is drawn to ROCK OF ENGLAND, who obviously goes well fresh as he made a winning debut at Thirsk last year. There were valid excuses for two later comparative failures and Richard Kingscote rides this course as well as anyone. Stable companion Lerwick is also interesting having been gelded with Tomahawk King having the same operation recently. Roman Spring has hinted ability, as has Fools And Horses.
