Third in both starts so far over fences, LILYWHITE GESTURE may not appreciate this drop in distance. However, conditions will be very testing and that should bring her stamina into play. Pretty Miss Mahler has been placed in a point-to-point and has won twice over hurdles this year so is an interesting newcomer to fences. Swantykay won a Down Royal handicap in May but that was on fast going and he’s shown nothing yet for new connections. Dr Moloney came down twice last month but jockey bookings suggest he’s still preferred to stablemate Flycorn.
