In depth

Verdict

This is the most competitive race on the card, though that’s not saying much. Galveston remains winless but wasn’t beaten far over this trip at Perth last month, though finished a place behind the staying-on The Conn. Veteran Bescot Springs has won three times around here and is still capable when in the mood and More Madness is also worth a second look. Secret Approach and Our Morris are others to consider but Pearlita blotted her copybook at Worcester last month. COURT BALOO wouldn’t want conditions to deteriorate further but may be the one to beat on his latest third over track and trip.
