      Verdict

      Dica reversed earlier Cartmel running with Miss Mackie when second to Miss Conway here last month and the pair meet on identical terms today. MY IDEA was only fifth that day and is now worse off at the weights courtesy of a penalty he picked up for winning at Sedgefield next time. But the form of his victory has been franked so Maurice Barnes’ charge is now in the mix with Thomas Dowson taking off 5lb. Aregra has every chance on a recent second at Worcester while Mahler Bay is unexposed over fences so probably capable of better.
