In depth
Verdict
A dire contest in which the market may prove the best guide. MASH POTATO is only 1-17 over hurdles but should be competitive off this sort of mark and makes more appeal than stable companion Mighty Whitey. Call The Cops would have made short work of these in his prime but it’s more than two years since he showed any worthwhile form. Oishin hasn’t run since April but did beat Mrs Grass on worse terms at Newcastle last season so must have some sort of chance if fully primed.
