Verdict
Not too much to go on but of those to have faced the starter Nafsika and Atahuelpa are those that have fared best. Nafsika was plating class on the level for Bryan McMahon and while she isn't the easiest of rides - any runner from the Nicky Henderson stable has to be respected. Atauhelpa was much better class on the flat but has had one or two injury problems since commencing over hurdles. He possesses ability and may be difficult to peg back if given a soft lead. The market should give the best clues with regard to Your Advantage. He was a modest flat handicapper in France for Richard Gibson and on his known formlines, any additional rain would far from inconvenience. The well-bred Valance must come into the equation if supported. He won a maiden on the all-weather over 12 furlongs before being turned out quickly to finish a close-up seventh to Jeepstar in a competitive Musselburgh handicap. Imperative at least hails from a yard that are in form but who are not noted for huge quantities of National Hunt winners. The remainder of the flat converts look to have plenty to find on their bare form. In a tricky race, caution is advised but Valance looks a sporting bet at the likely odds.
