Verdict
Trainer Gary Moore has a good record here and that can be improved upon with Assoon, while Definite Guest and Cosi Fan Tutte can both go well. The selection will appreciate conditions here moreso than when cut underfoot blunted his speed at Chepstow last time. However, that outing on the level will have put him spot on for this, and with the trip looking ideal he can score. Definite Guest makes his debut for the in-form Richard Fahey yard. Rated 81 on the level, he has performed in some decent handicaps and if his Flat speed comes into play then he should be thereabouts. However, he first has to prove that he can hurdle and also that he gets this trip, as he is mainly a miler on the level and they don't always get two over the sticks, so we will pass him over today. Cosi Fan Tutte was found out by the cut in the ground on his hurdling debut last time. He jumped well after an early error that day and can come on for the experience, though he has plenty to find with Definite Guest judged on Flat ratings. But with more experience on offer here, we will side with Assoon to score.
