Verdict

Placed over 7f on a couple of occasions, Sarasota sets the standard off a mark of 66 though it’s not a very high one and the less exposed VELVET MORN is preferred. The latter ran out of steam in the closing stages when fourth over 7f here a fortnight ago and this shorter trip should suit Bill Knight’s filly on that evidence. Harry's Bar has been gelded since last year’s modest debut at Yarmouth in May while Ghaith’s dam is related to Group 1 winners and fellow newcomer Vallachy is a half-brother to three winners.
