    Verdict

    CARDSHARP is penalised 7lb for last summer’s Listed success but still edges this at the weights. Mark Johnston’s charge arrives in good form having won a handicap over today’s trip at Lingfield earlier this month and is preferred to both Crossing The Line and Glendevon. The former struggled in a conditions' race last time having won at Chelmsford earlier while the latter drops back down to 7f having placed over 1m2f on a couple of occasions at the end of last year. Giogiobbo was a prolific winner on the all-weather when trained in France but has yet to threaten for new connections.
