        Verdict

        Dame Freya Stark returned to action with a better effort at Lingfield and can figure but a couple of these had stronger form last year including Nooshin. The latter finished third over 7f here on her debut in November but MADAME TANTZY was placed over today’s trip at Newbury on her introduction and she gets the vote given the runner-up has subsequently won. So Hi Cardi and Lady Mascara are likely improvers along with Hooriya and the latter makes more appeal than stablemate and newcomer Scenesetter.
