In depth

Verdict

NAYARRA has found one too good on both outings despite going off a short-priced favourite each time. She's no good thing here either but sets the standard and will appreciate her first venture over a sixth furlong. Huma Bird is hard to assess after swerving violently after travelling well in the Sandown race when Nayarra was second. The Godolphin filly is obviously a risky proposition and probably best watched. Sunrise Dance showed enough on debut to suggest that she'll land a race for Alan Jarvis whose two-year-olds are going well this season, although improvement is needed. Amis Reunis and Mention represent top yards and look most interesting of the newcomers on paper.
