      Verdict

      A tight betting heat with little separating the main contenders on official BHB ratings but marginal preference is for Sandy Lady with Digital and Impeller as the main threats. Richard Hannon's filly was a little below her best last time although she faced no easy task in a valuable Sandown handicap behind Duke Of Modena. However, she had previously shaped with plenty of encouragement when narrowly denied in a similar event on her seasonal return at Windsor last month and a reproduction may well prove sufficient. Digital put up one of his best efforts when fifth in the Victoria Cup at Ascot last time despite not getting the clearest of runs so rates a big danger particularly on the prevailing ground while Impeller appears to be coming to hand judged on his most recent effort but Cloud Dancerlacks a recent outing and is probably best watched on this occasion.
