Verdict
Ed Dunlop has made a fine start to the current campaign and can add to the tally courtesy of Pawan with Tyranny and Graduation Day the main dangers and Point Man an interesting newcomer. Pawan had just one outing as a juvenile but showed useful form when a staying-on fourth in an above average maiden at Newbury in July behind Hilbre Island and looks the type who can progress as a three-year-old. Tyranny would have claims on her debut second behind subsequent Royal Lodge hero Al Jadeed but has failed to recapture the same level of form and looks a little exposed. Graduation Day hinted at ability on his return but also looks vulnerable to an improving type so Pip Payne's Point Man, who is a well bred son of Pivotal out of a winning Irish River mare, wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary to figure on his debut.
