Verdict
A dreadful contest from a punting perspective and Azuree is only a token selection in a race that will not live long in the memory. Baileys Applause and Just Cliff have claims at the weights and merit a second look in the betting. However, neither are reliable performers and punters take their lives in their hands in trusting either of these two with anything more than the bare minimum for stakes. Therefore, we turn to Azuree, who has at least won a race recently and looks by far the best of a bad bunch. The daughter of Almutawakel has a fair bit of experience for a two-year-old and has dropped to a handy mark after an initial high of 77 proved a little restricting. Azuree won a similar contest in good style last time and she will be very hard to beat with only a similar in today's company.
