An interesting little sprint that can go to Red Sovereign, who ran as if a return to the minimum trip would suit earlier in the month and she gets the nod over Tag Team and the lightly raced Hammer Of The Gods, who make the most appeal out of the rest; although Kathology has taken on stronger opposition in the past and is worth monitoring for signs of each-way support. However, David Elsworth's charge has been very hard to win with over the last two years and there has to be the suspicion that he is now simply on the downgrade. Hammer Of The Gods won a Banded Stakes race in good style on his penultimate start and looked as if he was capable of running up a sequence at one point.
