Verdict
Dandoun is an interesting runner on his first start for Chris Dwyer, having formerly been with John Dunlop, but lack of experience on the sand is of concern and preference is for Jack Sullivan, who is taken to confirm superiority over Lygeton Lad. The selection came with a well-timed run to pip the in form Moayed over seven furlongs here on his reappearance last month, with Lygeton Lad three lengths back in fourth place. Gerard Butler's gelding should not be inconvenienced by the furlong extra today and is taken to follow up. Hurricane Coast has six wins to his name on the sand this year but this is easily his toughest assignment to date and a bigger threat may come from Alan Bailey's Queens Rhapsody, who has claims on his best. The booking of Richard Quinn for Sailing Through takes the eye, while Tahirah, who hails from the in-form yard of Rae Guest is another to consider. However, Jack Sullivan has an obvious chance and he gets the vote.
