        Verdict

        Impressive recent winner Pompey Blue is taken to land this nursery with Burlington Place and Maunby Raver expected to fight out the places. The selection had been contesting valuable sales races on the turf before getting the better of the well regarded Colour Code at Wolverhampton and if handling this surface should continue her winning ways. Burlington Place is improving with every race and made Kabreet pull out all the stops here last week and another bold showing is expected. Pat Haslam has his stable in great form and Maunby Raver makes his Lingfield debut following two terrific runs at Southwell and Wolverhampton. As he coped with those surfaces there should not be any problem with the polytrack. Recent course and distance winner Fools Entire is another to consider but on this occasion Pompey Blue gets the vote.
