Verdict

The most valuable race on the card has drawn a useful field but the vote goes to Bit O Magic who comes here in top form. Ferdy Murphy's charge created a good impression when a comfortable winner at Musselburgh in late January. The son of Henbit appeared to win with plenty in hand so should overcome a 4lb rise and this pacey performer will have no difficulty with the drop in trip. Minster Glory is well treated on his old form but has had his share of problems in recent years and does not look the force of old while recent Newcastle winner Aelred was well below his best last week and now has something to prove. El Cordobes goes well here but would prefer further but Deep Water is a consistent sort who looks sure to give another good account and rates a danger.
