Verdict
A useful handicap brings proceedings to a close and Richard Phillips, who has his team in fine form, is taken to add to the tally with Central Committee. The son of Royal Academy has been a model of consistency winning three of his last five starts and demonstrated his battling qualities when scoring at Fontwell last time out. Although yet to win over this trip, he should have little difficulty of lasting home on this sharp track and can defy a 5lb rise. Wagner has strong claims on October's Bangor victory but has twice been beaten since including a shocking display when last seen out in December and is best watched while neither Snowmore or Saxon Mill is certain to stay this trip.
