Verdict
MABELA made a winning start in handicaps at Huntingdon and then came up against a tough and consistent mare when second at Ludlow. She’s improved since tackling longer trips and can return to winning ways here, despite a further 2lb rise. Salto Chisco will strip fitter for his second at Wincanton and is usually thereabouts but has done all of his winning over shorter distances. Mythical Prince was second here last month on his handicap debut and Cougar Kid is slipping down the handicap so is another to consider.
