Royal Dignitary faces a stiff test under top weight but has the ability to cope and is selected ahead of Glenbuck and Regent's Secret, while Cool Ebony is not without a chance on these terms and he is one for each-way thieves to bear in mind. Regent's Secret is a standing dish at the Scottish courses and is sure to have his supporters. However, he does tend to need an outing or two to put him straight and, after 134 days on the sidelines, he may just be better for the run. Glenbuck was brushed aside by the selection at Southwell last month and will do well to reverse the form. That said, he is better suited to the turf and has a feasible chance of at least making the frame. Nevertheless, Royal Dignitary acts well at this track and, as he is likely to have things run to suit, David Nicholls' charge has plenty in his favour today.
