A chance is taken that Gazboolou can finally get off the mark and he is preferred over Shot Gun and Leon Knights. Mark Johnston also sends out Derby entry Hubble Bubble and, as a half-brother to a handful of winners, he has to be respected. The son of Giants causeway has numerous entries over the next few days and it would come as no surprise to see him be kept busy for a short while. Leon Knights will qualify for a handicap mark after this and is also an interesting contender to keep on the right side. He is bred to be effective at this tip and has the ability to pick up a race somewhere along the line. Shot Gun is a relative of several smart performers and can also be expected to pay his way before too long. Strong support for this fellow would be dangerous to ignore and he may be worth including as a saver. However, a more adventurous option comes in the shape of Gazboolou, whose record of four consecutive seconds does not tell the whole story. He has encountered some potentially useful types up to press and, although he has been expensive to follow, the son of Royal Applause sets the standard today.
