LUCKY ART, Northern Empire and Blue Tomato may be the ones to concentrate on here and preference is for the first-named who looks well-treated by the framing of this race. The sole three-year-old in the race, Howard Johnson's son of Johannesburg is taking a big drop in class this afternoon. His last three starts have not been up to scratch and with connections possibly feeling that he is badly handicapped, they have been left little choice but to get a win into him in selling or claiming class. Old-timer Blue Tomato has winning form at the track and should run well with Jamie Kyne taking 7lb off his back, whilst Raccoon and Mr Rooney have been effective in modest handicaps but look up against it here. Northern Empire is quickly turned out after a midfield finish at Leicester but he cannot be underestimated now dropped back into plating class. Lucky Art is fancied to get back to winning ways this afternoon.
