Verdict

THAT'LL DO NICELY is preferred to hat-trick seeking Chookie Hamilton, Dazzling Light and Step This Way. Nicky Richards' gelding has been in good form since racing in turf handicaps this season. Having started off life as a bumper horse and jumping hope, connections are collecting some pots of gold along the way and a 3lb rise in the weights for his latest success may not be enough to stop him on ground he handles. Chookie Hamilton is another course winner who gets in at the bottom of the weights following a recent win at Carlisle and he is unlikely to be far away, a comment that also applies to Sonara after his second to Daraiym over two miles at the same track. The consistent pair of Step This Way and Dazzling Light must also be considered from marks in the 70's, whilst Dzesmin has the ability to defy top-weight if on a going day. A tricky handicap to solve but marginal preference is for That'll Do Nicely.
