        Verdict

        Let's start with the course and distance winners and from a shortlist of STELLITE, Infinity Bond and Angaric, it is the first-named who is fancied to lead the field home. A winner here on the 19th of May, the selection recorded his eighth career win in determined fashion. He goes well on this quick ground and he is taken to run another big race despite the average draw. Infinity Bond was fourth in that race, only beaten by three necks, and he has a 6lb pull in the weights, whilst Kabis Amigos was second and Angaric fourth. Kargan continues to run well in defeat but ultimately he hasn't won in 11 starts so of more interest may be Optical Illusion or Imperial Echo who both represent shrewd yards. The market should be a big help here but without that information we will stick with Stellite.
