Verdict
As in the first division of the fillies maiden, this race is sure to provide plenty of future winners but is not easy to solve with little public form available. John Gosden's yard has held it's form throughout the season and the Manton handler sets a poser by saddling two choicely bred newcomers Ocean Silk and Rambler. Jockey bookings suggest the former is the better fancied while Sir Michael Stoute relies upon Vipassana, a stoutly bred daughter of Sadler's Wells, who should also be noted. Fellow newcomers Eloquent Silence and Innovation are others to watch in the market while Floreeda will be sharper for her encouraging fourth at Lingfield last month. Itnab also made a promising debut over this trip on the July course three months ago but hasn't been seen since so a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Majhud. John Dunlop took this event twelve months ago and the Arundel handler will be hopeful of a repeat with the improving daughter of Machiavellian after finishing a close third behind a useful yardstick at Kempton in September. With further progress on the cards, this well related filly from the family of Group 1 hero Bahri looks sure to go well at a fair price.
