          Verdict

          Not a race to get heavily involved in with luck in running and the draw sure to play a major part in the outcome in such a cavalry charge. However, Grey Cossack has returned better than ever following two easy wins and must be on the short list to complete the hat trick. Carrie Pooter is another to consider after beating a large field at Ripon last time while Lisianski shaped well when a staying-on third behind Boanerges over the minimum trip at Kempton on his comeback and will appreciate the extra furlong. David Nicholls always has to be feared in this type of event and the Sessay handler saddles four from which Onlytime Will Tell may prove the pick. The son of Efisio is weighted to revers earlier form with Carrie Pooter and was drawn on the wrong side last time when unplaced in the Victoria Cup. He may have better luck this time under Kevin Darley.
