Verdict
Iron Lad showed some ability on his debut but it would be no surprise if one of the newcomers proved capable of better in a race in which the market may provide the best clues. Dedham Vale, a half-brother to a winner in the States, comes from a yard that is more then capable of saddling a first-time out winner and may prove the most forward although Neville Callaghan has made a bright start with his juveniles this term and the Inchinor colt Steelaninch is worthy of respect.
