Verdict
Beshaayir beat I Can Fly and stablemate One Master when landing a Group 2 at the Curragh in May. She’s fancied to confirm running on today’s fast ground given the runner-up was placed in a Group 2 at Royal Ascot last time while One Master ran a big race in the Queen Anne Stakes at the same meeting. But QABALA had a legitimate excuse for a poor effort in the Irish 1000 Guineas having scoped badly afterwards. Roger Varian’s filly has strong claims on an earlier third in the 1000 Guineas here having won the Nell Gwyn before that and she gets a chance to bounce back in this. Mot Juste has plenty to find with her stable companion and Veracious finished a length behind I Can Fly at Ascot.
