Verdict

The form book tells us DAAHYEH (NAP) is the one to beat in this. Roger Varian’s filly won last month’s Albany at Royal Ascot when beating Celtic Beauty in fine style having earlier got the better of Raffle Prize in novice company and is taken to confirm superiority given the latter is penalised after dropping down to 5f and landing the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Ascot under Frankie Dettori. She beat both Godolphin representatives, Final Song and Divine Spirit, as well as Lambeth Walk on that occasion though all three have the potential to improve attempting 6f for the first time today. Brighton novice winner Bredenbury will need to take a big step forward in this company.
