In depth
Verdict
Craic Sa Ceili was a very easy five length winner of a nursery at Ayr on Tuesday and even under a 6lb penalty it is difficult to oppose Mick Channon's horse. That success came on softish ground and, with the conditions likely to be similar here, Tony Culhane's mount rates the TEAMtalk selection. Topweight Thunderpoint failed to reproduce of his best on a softer surface at Ayr last time and is probably best watched, especially with Kevin Darley deserting him in favour of Dancinginthestreet. Alan King is not known for his great success with two-year-olds but has done well with Howle Hill, who clearly warrants respect as does Richard Hannon's Tease for who Mick Kinane has been booked. The biggest danger to the selection may prove to be the Barry Hills-trained Bint Alhaarth who caught the eye behind Garmoucheh here last time. That was over seven furlongs on fast ground though and on this softer surface we would rather stick with the Channon horse.
