Verdict
A difficult contest to solve with the maximum 30 runners again lining up, this time over the seven-furlong trip. Mick Channon's Millennium Force gained a well deserved big race success in a valuable event at Ascot last time but will find this tougher off his new mark a similar comment applies to the hat-trick seeking Wind Chime. Sir Michael Stoute's Contract has not been seen since a disappointing effort in the Britannia at the Royal meeting but has claims on his earlier win at Sandown. Santisima Trinidad could still be ahead of the handicapper after his win at Ayr last time, while Sir Ninja could be interesting on his favoured ground making a belated reappearance. This is his first start for Sylvester Kirk but the TEAMtalk vote goes to Certain Justice. Paul Cole's four-year-old won the Letheby & Christopher Silver Salver Stakes on the July course in August in tidy fashion and still looks well treated off his new mark. The soft ground suits and he should give backers a good run for their money.
