In depth
Verdict
With 30 runners set to face the starter this does not appear to be the easiest of races to solve, however, there are several of the participants that appear out of their depth so this might not be as tough as at first glance. Richard Hannon is always a man to fear in this type of contest so his two, One Last Time and I'm Magic both have to be respected. With James Fanshawe's yard in such good form at present Bath winner Morning After has claims. Michael Jarvis went close on a couple of occasions on Thursday so his once-raced colt El Chaparral may do so here. Michelle Ma Belle, Red Wizard and Clann A Cougar are others to consider but the TEAMtalk vote goes to Catmint. Henry Candy's daughter of Piccolo has been in terrific form of late completing a hat-trick of victories at Ripon, Beverley and Sandown over the minimum trip. The step up to six furlongs should not be a problem, neither should the softer ground and she looks the one to be on.
