Verdict
With no public form on offer, this is probably a race to watch, rather than to bet on, but in the absence of any market moves to go on, we'll give a hesitant selection to Sir Michael Stoute's Auditorium, with Kodiac and Gold Mask others to note. Auditorium cost 115,000 guineas as a yearling and is a full brother to the high-class sprint winner Mister Cosmi, so is certainly bred to win a race like this and will have the considerable assistance of Kieren Fallon in the saddle. Kodiac, who represents the John Dunlop stable and has Seb Sanders booked to ride, is a brother to the smart sprinter Massarra. This Danehill colt should be winning races before long and any market support would be significant. Gold Mask is a well-bred February foal from the John Gosden stable capable of first time out two-year-old success and again the market could be a clue as to this one's chances. There are a number of others to consider also, but we'll take a chance that Auditorium gets the applause on his debut here.
