In depth

Verdict

In what looks a competitive affair, the improving Trading Trouble is taken to again come out on top, with Huncheon Paddy, The Royal Dub, Vic The Piler and Toran Road just a few serious rivals. Trading Trouble has really come to hand this season, impressing with his jumping as much as anything as he has reeled off three straight wins, the last of which was over a slightly shorter trip here three weeks ago. He is just as effective over three miles, and although creeping up the handicap, is set to run another big race. There are four Irish challengers including Huncheon Paddy who stayed on strongly when scoring at Dromore recently. That was only his second outing of the year, and so he is entitled to go close despite a 7lb penalty. The Royal Dub has been pretty consistent and represents a powerful combination, while Vic The Piler was very disappointing when well beaten at Hexham last year and is best watched. Toran Road opened his account on fast ground in Ireland last time and has more to do, but it would be no surprise to see Lethem Air go well. However, we shall remain loyal to Trading Trouble.
