Pagan Sword is taken to get the better of Mushajer, with Hanseatic League another that should be capable of making the frame. The selection won in good style last time at Doncaster and with conditions to suit he is difficult to oppose. His yard continues in good form and although he will need to be produced from off-the-pace, if he gets the gaps then he should win. Mushajer clearly has ability but does not look one to trust. He was well beaten last time at Newbury over 1m and although the step-up in trip may bring about some improvement, we are happy to oppose him until he shows a little more. Hanseatic League kept on well over 1m on this track last time when third behind Cross Time, and he gave the impression that day that he might be worth a try at this longer trip. He is one to note in the market, along with Luca Cumani's Sacranun, but for the winner we will stick with the in-form Pagan Sword.
