In depth
Verdict
Nouveau Riche boasts the best recent form and should prove hard to beat, with Red Sahara and Music Maid likely to give her most to do. Hughie Morrisson's filly did not see the track as a two-year-old but has quickly made up for lost time, striking at the third attempt when successful at Windsor 17 days ago. She displayed plenty of determination when responding to Ryan Moore's urgings and can only improve further. With that in mind, a mark of 77 for her first venture into handicap-company may not be too bad at all and she can follow up. Red Sahara has already won twice, the latest being in a 20-runner field at Newbury in May. She may well have added to that at Windsor last time but Philip Robinson's restraining tactics saw her lose out by a head. Frankie Dettori will not give a repeat performance in the saddle, and she can prove the main threat. Music Maid loves it here and won the corresponding event 12 months ago. Her stable is returning to form and she should also go well now that she is reunited with David Kinsella. The winner should come from the trio mentioned, and we shall rely on the least exposed, Nouveau Riche.
